I have been growing orchids for 15+ years now. In 2008, I took my first lesson in Sogetsu Ikebana. For me, growing orchids and creating Ikebana arrangements are my meditation. I created this blog to share my pictures and ideas with you. It is like my JOURNAL and helps me keep track of my progress.

Four Different Styles of Arrangement
We didn't have any class all of September. It happened that I had these beautiful flowers, so I felt the urge to do some arrangements using them. Here are the four different styles. Naked weeping pine branches (I stripped all the pine needles), St. John's-wort and roses. Trimmed azalea branch and sunflowers Willow, pine, and chrysanthemums Abstract design- rose( in tube) and broken leave
So beautiful! I add you to my blog http://lucaramacciotti.wordpress.com/
