Today 2/5/2014, The Ice storm from last night was even worse then the previous snow storm. Our beautiful willow tree uprooted that broke my heart. Many road trees fell and knocked down the power line causing power outages. We didn't have heat and water for an entire day. School closed and all the activities cancelled. It was a very gloomy winter day.
I have been growing orchids for 15+ years now. In 2008, I took my first lesson in Sogetsu Ikebana. For me, growing orchids and creating Ikebana arrangements are my meditation. I created this blog to share my pictures and ideas with you. It is like my JOURNAL and helps me keep track of my progress.

Winter Never End
Snow storm number 7, dumped 7" snow yesterday. We had 10" snow last week. The snow just piled up one after another. Yet there is another snow, ice and sleet storm coming tomorrow (it might cause power outages), the Pennsylvania ground hog predicted six more weeks of winter, the winter seems never end. Even though the white winter wonderland is beautiful but we have enough of it. Enough is enough!! (2/4/2014)
