We have 6 grandchildren, Teddy is the youngest one. His parents celebrated his 1st birthday in traditional Korean style (his father is Korean American). I, as grandma and an ikebanist, delightfully made a pair of tall flower arrangements. His Halmeoni (grandma in Korean) prepared sweet rice cake and mochi. Teddy grabbed an apple instead of other objects, this means he might go into educational field in the future, following in his mother’s foot steps. (Please see photos below)
