The Ikebana International Philadelphia chapter #71 began our 2022 - 2023 year with the opening luncheon at “The Farmhouse at People’s Light and Theater,” on September 15th. This time we had Ikenobo on demonstration by Mrs. Kyoko Peterson, a Senior Professor, which is the highest level in the school of Ikenobo. She demonstrated the wide range of styles of the Ikenobo from a classical rikka to an abstract freestyle, and also taught a workshop the next day.
I forgot to bring my iPhone camera with me. I am so sorry that I was not able to take any photos from her beautiful demo arrangements. The pictures here are from other sources and a friend of mine sent them to me. I am so grateful!
