Long awaited “Ikebana International 19th North & Central American Regional Conference” (NCARC) finally approached, from 10/13 to 10/18/2024. I was registered earlier to secure Kawana Sensei’s workshops. Master Kawana is internationally renowned for his exhibits and workshops in Europe, Asia, North America and Australia. He is a Master instructor of the Sogetsu headquarters. For more than fifty years, Kawana Sensei has taught and demonstrated ikebana throughout the world. His work embraces flower arranging, stage design, sculpture and installation art, using natural materials in unexpected ways.
