Less Is More

I compared these two arrangements using more and less peonies. I think I like the first photo better. You know why I used a lot of peonies? Because that’s all I have left! Their blooming season is just too short!

Autumn Iris and Garden Mum Arrangement

It’s strange that my irises are blooming this time of year, in the middle of the October. I remembered that they didn’t bloom last May, when they usually would bloom. Garden mums and Irises are blooming at the same time this fall!  I did want to arrange them together, though.

Camellia

I visited my MWGC friend, also a long time member like me. I went to her garden to see her beautiful and strong Camellia bush (or tree) at the end of April. I had tried plant one once for few years but failed. I would like to try again, and so am looking for suitable Camellia (zone 6) for my garden.
