Family Gathering - Lewes, Delaware

Our mini vacation with all the children gathered at my daughter’s beach house in Lewes, Delaware. Four members of our family were having their birthdays in August!  So, we three generations all went there for vacation and celebration together! My youngest grandson (10+ month old) had been dipping his tiny feet into the water for the first time, exciting and smiling! We, young and old all had a fun and wonderful time. (8/4 - 8/7/2024)

The Birthday Bouquet - Ikebana for Celebration

It was a very special birthday celebration for me last weekend (earlier then my actual date). Not only did I received a beautiful bouquet, but I also enjoyed an exquisite Japanese dinner “Omakase” style with all my children and grandchildren! Especially, we got the chance to get together and all celebrate my 80th birthday at the Sushi of Gari Tribeca restaurant in NYC.  I felt so fortunate and happy! It was a blessing! (12/9/2023)

Welcome to Our New Baby Grandson

My mind was busy with September’s class lessons (9/12/2023) and we were also worried about our daughter’s due date might be coming up any day? Surprisingly, she gave birth to a baby boy on 9/14/2023, five days earlier! We were so relieved and overjoyed!  Mother and baby are doing well and healthy.😊🙏

Thanksgiving with Family

Thanksgiving has come and gone. The weather here was just perfect, sunny and warm. Forty seven years ago, there were only two of us: my husband and me. Now, he is a retired physician, my son has followed his footsteps, my daughter (an architect) helped us design and renovate this comfy, beautiful retirement house, and our youngest daughter is a high school principal in New York City. This past June she had her school's first graduation (she founded the school), and 95% of her seniors graduated. We are so proud of her! We also have our four grandchildren, they are good kids and healthy. We have 12 people in total in the family by now. We are thankful for so many things, and our family being together, happy and healthy, is what we are most thankful for!
