Free Style - Using Japanese Quince

My neighbor's Japanese Quince bushes are blooming at their peak. She allows me to use as much as I want. I feel it's a pity if I don't use it to show its beauty. So, here are my Ikebana arrangements. (at class and at home)
Material: Japanese Quince, Mum, Pine and driftwood
Container: Ceramic Suiban, made by my daughter

Miniature Arrangement - Fairies in My Garden

A Miniature Mass Design. Must be no bigger than 5" wide x 5" tall x 5" deep. This is our MWGC's Little Show for April.
My container is a porcelain cream cup, it 's less then 2" tall. Hydrangea has its natural mass form. The bent midollino sticks are what in my imagination are fairies flying around the flowers.

Orchid in Ikebana

At the SEPOS orchid show, I met a member from another society who has many beautiful orchids on display. He said that he grows his orchids in the green house. He snapped a stem of spider orchid and gave it to me at the end of the show without hesitation! I used it with philodendron leaves to arrange a contemporary style. Both materials can last a long period of time.

Does it look like spiders crawling on the leaves?

The show was held at the Academy of Natural Science Museum in center city Philadelphia, from April 11-13, 2014. I contributed four plants to join the show for our society.
